Meet the Team!

A note from Angela…

These ladies are some of my nearest and dearest friends, and I have loved them all for years before The GoodNight Nanny even came into existence. There are no strangers in this family! I pride myself on continuity of care, so if more than one team member serves you, the transition will be seamless. Everyone is certified in infant CPR, and background checks are available upon request. Enjoy meeting The GoodNight Nanny team!

Angela

I am entering a new phase of life with two young adult sons. It’s so exciting (and slightly terrifying) to watch them start carving out their own paths in life! My relationship with them means everything to me. As my sons are growing into adulthood, I love doting on my nieces and nephews and proudly wear the “favorite auntie” hat!

I love on-tap diet Dr. Pepper, cold weather, all things true crime, watching game shows, listening to innumerable podcasts, and U of U football. I also enjoy long walks, playing the piano, my Sandbox phone game, and spending time in the mountains.

Angie

I have been a birth doula since 2003, a postpartum doula since 2010, and am also an IBCLC lactation consultant. I have a master’s degree in Maternal and Child Health. I fall in love with all of the families I serve. I love helping people begin the adventure of parenting in an empowered way!

I love learning new things, going to new places, and the great outdoors. I have 5 kids of my own and they have been the greatest adventure. Fun fact: I have known Angela since the 4th grade- we go way back.

Chantel

I am a mom to six kiddos, and I’ve also been a surrogate twice. I’ve worked with women and kids my whole adult life – first at an OB/GYN office, then at Primary Children’s, then in the mom/baby unit at IMC Murray, and now I’ve been working with Angela to help new moms recover for several years. You could say I love kids!

I like to travel, although I don’t get the chance to experience new places as much as I’d like. I also love laughing, reading, being outside, and spending time with my family – both my own little family and my large extended family. I look forward to getting to know you and your new baby!

Lisa

I am a mom to four living children and one angel boy in heaven. Our oldest children are twins, born at 24 weeks gestation. Our sweet son passed away after one week due to complications from being born so prematurely. And our daughter (despite many medical challenges) is a thriving teenager. After that experience, we turned to adoption to build our family, adding two sons and a daughter in rapid succession. I have a degree in Human Development and Family Studies and worked, prior to children, in research administration. I looooove working for Angela and have immensely enjoyed my time working at night with amazing families (many of whom have become good friends)!

In my spare time I can be found reading (or more likely listening to an audiobook while I do dishes/laundry/cooking), working in the yard, playing card games with my game-loving boys, or doing a puzzle. We love to go to Newport Beach and St. George as a family!

Melanie

My claim to fame comes in the form of my chocolate chip cookie recipe and, more importantly, my daughter and two sons. I love getting to know my kids as they grow out of and into the different stages of their lives. My life is pretty simple – I love my family (especially my dog), rainy days, and a good spreadsheet.

My GoodNight Nanny motto is, “Sleep training is easier than potty training!”

Melissa

I have known Angela my entire life and I’m thrilled to have been part of The GoodNight Nanny family for many years! I feel so blessed to be working with such amazing ladies and for the opportunity to meet so many wonderful families! It is such a treat to help families navigate life with a newborn. It is especially rewarding to see parents benefit from a restful night as they are able to maximize their sleep while I get to care for their precious baby!

I am the mother of two very creative and spirited girls, each born via emergency caesarean section. I am also VERY familiar with a breast pump as I exclusively pumped for an entire year with my first baby (all while struggling with postpartum depression). I love diet Dr. Pepper, reading, doing jigsaw puzzles, playing games, listening to true crime podcasts, doing laundry, and especially eating Melanie’s delicious chocolate chip cookies!

Sandra

I come from an all-girl family and continued the tradition with my own six daughters, including twins. They are my greatest joy. My absolute favorite pastime is playing cards by the pool with my daughters and sisters, and a charcuterie platter.

I worked as a kindergarten and first grade Spanish bilingual teacher before joining The GoodNight Nanny. Angela is one of my oldest dear friends and I’ve loved working with her and helping new moms adjust and recover. I’ve met the most wonderful families from diverse backgrounds and look forward to getting to know you!
